SINCE FOREVER
We were born out of seeing a fashion scene devoid of identity. Local brands copying foreign styles and imitating them; denying their roots, repeating empty rhetoric. We chose the opposite: to build a brand with its own identity, to speak our language, with our contradictions, with pride in who we are. We wanted clothing to have meaning again.
We design pieces that challenge the status quo. Pieces that blend irony, protest, and ambiguity to provoke multiple interpretations. Each collection is an open conversation: between the creator, the wearer, and the observer. Designs that invite reflection, interpretation, and discussion. We don't seek to convince; we seek to connect. We like to surround ourselves with and support people we admire in the fields of art, music, and sports, not for money, but out of respect.
Movimiento Ilícito is a collective that expresses itself through clothing. Our goal has always been clear: for everyone to identify with what we do. A community that understands that dressing is also a way of thinking. That understands the intention behind each piece, the story, the message. Even if we make the system uncomfortable or are called criminals, we are simply a movement of ordinary people who chose to express themselves freely. It's not about breaking the rules, but about daring to think differently.
